Introducing for the first time –Techno and House with unique Visual
extravaganza by DJ Boy Jorge and VJ Klaustrofobia.

Main musical theme is focused around new techno releases but of course we are not ruling out the golden classics. Being true purists we love our vinyls. Our DJ guest star for this mesmerizing first Cosmique night is none other than TV OFF’s own -Marked Man. He has promised to dust of his most valuable Detroit Techno records, and by jumping straight to his techno music roots we are sure to receive absolutely memorable set.

What makes Cosmique truly magic is of course VJ Klaustrofobia with his cool 'n sweaty visuals. Every Cosmique club has it’s own theme, and around that our resident VJ creates unique footage for us to enjoy. For this first night theme is of course simply Cosmique atmosphere.

Marked Man alias Markku Mäkelä is first and foremost a music enthusiast. As an artist he is most widely known as one half of the indie sensation TV OFF, who are about to release their new album this year. But he is equally active in the club music scene as a producer for Top Billin, having worked on remixes which are favored by club dj's and music lovers around the world, released on such labels as Man Recordings, Southern Fried, Stretch Armstrong's Plant Music and Diplo's Mad Decent. Outside the field of electronic music his most recent work has been participating on the Finnish rocker Manna's two latest albums as a recording engineer. "Music is the greatest love of my life to this day," he says, "being allowed to work with talented and creative people on a daily basis is something I am very thankful for."

This year we will see a wide variety of music from Marked Man: TV OFF releases a new album and starts touring with a new live band, rap artist Tommishock's upcoming album will feature two beats produced by Marked Man and his long time collabo partner Miro Holopainen, with who he also forms the dub influenced group Wolfhaus which already got noticed by the renown US culture magazine XLR8R. Their first EP release will be out this Spring.

RAVE SAVES – Suomen suurin elektronisen musiikin hyväntekeväisyystapahtuma – järjestetään nyt ensimmäistä kertaa Virgin Oilissa la 9.4.2011.
Mukaan pro-bono hengessä ovat lähteneet Suomen johtava DJ-kaarti, Virgin Oil sekä koko Rave Saves- tuotantotiimi, ja illan aikana kuullaan technon, electron, housen ja trancen lisäksi myös alakerran jungle roomissa drum & bassia sekä dubstepia. Illan lipunmyynnin tuotto lahjoitetaan lyhentämättömänä Amnesty Internationalin Suomen osaston toimintaan, ja Amnesty on myös mukana tapahtuman yhteistyökumppanina.

Rave Saves - illan aikana kuullaan kotimaista DJ kermaa, esiintyjinä ovat Orkidea, Eliot Ness, Milla Lehto, Genki, Casper, Olli S., Asaf Peled, Tatu V., Boy Jorge ja Paul Easy sekä alakerran rankempaa soundia edustavat Muffler, Genki, Physics ja LAOS.

Tapahtuman visuaaliseen ilmeeseen panostetaan myös kunnolla ja luvassa on urbaania video- ja valotaidetta Virgin Oilin laajojen seinäpintojen täydeltä. Illan visuaalisesta ilotulituksesta vastaa Vj Klaustrofobia, joka on vuodesta 2004 toteuttanut erilaisia videoprojisointeja ja -visualisointeja musiikkitapahtumiin ja gallerioihin energisillä taideprojekteillaan.

Tapahtuman takana on pitkän linjan klubituottaja Markus Rauramo ja Rave Saves- tiimi. "Tapahtuman idea lähti liikkeelle elektronisen musiikin ympyröihin hyvin vahvasti jo 90-luvulta asti liittyneen PLUR-ajattelun kautta, jossa korostetaan rauhan, rakkauden, yhtenäisyyden ja kunnioituksen tärkeyttä. Idea saada myös passiivisesti hyväntekeväisyyden tekemisestä kiinnostuneet aktivoitua tavalla, jossa yhdistyy hauskanpito ja tärkeän asian tukeminen loi sytykkeen Rave Saves- konseptin viemisestä eteenpäin. Tapahtumasta ollaan tekemässä jokavuotinen kullekin vuodelle ajankohtaisilla teemoilla ja artisteilla varustettuna." kertoo Rauramo.

Rave Saves- tiimi muodostuu media- ja mainosalojen ammattilaisista; Kerkko Ulmanen, Lassi Miettinen, Riikka Hänninen ja Joni Kopisto ovat myös mukana suurella sydämellä järjestämässä uutta, tiedostavaa ja tietenkin myös elämyksellistä tapahtumaa.

Dialogues -- Underground (Excerpt) Cartes Flux / Festival of New Media Art Live performance at Kino Tapiola Thu 21 Oct 2010  Dialogues Underground is an audiovisual-project by sound artist Oravainen, rap-artist Paleface, VJ Group Random Doctors, producer/mc Blunttech and VJ Klaustrofobia. Club F A D E yhdistää tiukan Berliini-henkisen Technon ja Electron katutaiteisiin, videotaiteisiin ja urbaaniin valokuvataiteeseen tarkoituksena luoda täysin uniikki ja erilainen klubielämys Helsingin yöhön.

Erittäin tiukan dj-lineupin lisäksi tapahtumassa esitellään kolme kuva- ja valokuvataidenäyttelyä; urbaanin pop-taiteen näyttely Markus Rauramo: Blinded by the Lights, sekä valokuvanäyttelyt Antti Tuomi: Sivullinen, Heikki Aho: Shanghai.
